This is one of my early works that I really recall as taking a photo with some intention. Thus, I really recall it as one of the corner stones of my photography.
I really like the duality of the photo: The dock, close to the end of its journey, on the one hand. On the other hand, it is close to the beginning of my journey at the same time.
And therefore, the end of the one thing marks the beginning of something new.
